| Last night, we caught economist Dr Victor Calanog of New York-based Reis pump priming consumer spending in Atlanta by having dinner at the Palm Restaurant. (Did you know Palm servers have their own business cards? Rennie Truitt showed us his before toasting Victor's arrival.) Victor was in town for a series of meetings at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, to brief regulators and bankers on (what else?) commercial real estate conditions. We suggested he offer Rennie's card as proof of recovery, but Victor, as usual, stuck to stats. |
