February 24, 2011
Two big lease announcements in the Garden State yesterday. First,CAN DO/Koi Spa Salon inked a long-term, 61k SF lease renewal atPrinceton Forrestal Village, pictured, which was acquired last month by a JV of Investcorp and Lincoln Equities Group for $55M. It certainly needs the space, with over 4,000 members for its fitness and spa facilities that include a daycare and Muscle Maker Grill. Trucking, warehousing, and freight-forwarding company Metro T&Calso signed a long-term, 83k SF full-building lease at 720 W Edgar Rd in Linden, relocating its HQ from Kearny in an expansion move that more than doubles its size. Cushman & Wakefield’s Dan Badenhausen and Andrew Stypa repped both the tenant and landlord, Cantor Cos, and the deal took only 45 days start to finish. |
