DOIN' GOOD; THE DEAL SHEET
May 11, 2010
Some 80 poker players, including many from real estate industry, attended the 2010 Children's Tumor Foundation Poker Tournament at The Radisson last Thursday. |
The tournament raised $50k for CTF, the largest self-funded medical research foundation helping those affected by Neurofibromatosis. Among the attendees: CTF executive director George Orfanakos, Epstein Becker & Green's Eric Altman, Sidley Austin's Robert Golub, Belkin Burden's Dan Altman (event co-chair), semi-pro player Olga Varkonyi, 2002 World Series of Poker winner and 2009 Champions Poker Series runner-up Robert Varkonyi, CB Richard Ellis' Scott Gottlieb, and Belkin Burden's Craig Price. |
And the winner: Scott Gottlieb, who received a $10k ticket to the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, held in Vegas in July. Congrats! (And send us a few of your tricks.) If you couldn't make it, you can still donate to CTF here. A great cause, folks! |
