DOING GOOD!
CBRE's Meredith Bell and Heidi Gorman
More than 50 CBRE volunteers from across the New York Tri-State offices joined non-profit Rebuilding Together's NYC affiliate to refurbish Hudson Guild Community Center's Fulton Senior Center at 119 Ninth Ave. The project was part of CBRE's annual “Get Out and Give Back” month. CBRE volunteers (including Meredith Belland Heidi Gorman, above) painted the facility's library activity room, installed shelving and furnishing, and built benches for the garden. Employee donations, supplemented by CBRE Foundation's fund-matching contribution, financed the $10k project.
CBRE's Jason Greenstone, Robert K Futterman & Associates' Tess Jacoby, and CBRE's Zac Price
St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children's junior committee (which includes many young professionals in the real estate, construction, finance, and law industries) recently held a beer tasting and art gallery at Mixed Greens Gallery in Chelsea, where it raised$5,000 for St. Mary's. Pictured above: CBRE's Jason Greenstone, Robert K Futterman & Associates' Tess Jacoby, and CBRE's Zac Price. Zac tells us they'll be holding its annual Tribute Dinner after party at Cipriani Wall Street Nov. 21, where it hopes to surpass the$10k it raised last year. A shoutout to Mixed Greens, which donated the space and Manhattan Beer Distributors, which donated 25 cases of craft beers.
