On Friday, CANCOlofts, the American Can Co. factory-turned-residential condo conversion in Jersey City, began construction on CANCOpark, a 15k SF green space that will be located across the street from the 202-unit building. Above, JC Landscape Construction & Management Co.'s James Chimento, Stasse & Co.'s Jodi Stasse, Corigin Real Estate Group's Stewart Osborne and Edward Baquero, Jersey City Mayor Jerremiah Healy, Department of Housing Economic Development and Commerce's Carl Czaplicki, and Jersey City Economic Development Corp.'s Dan Frohwirth move dirt on the project, which will be completed in October and open to the public. Other amenities at CANCOlofts include a residents' lounge, a rentable space for private parties, fitness facilities, a children's play area, a home theater, outdoor dog run, and picnic and sundeck areas. |
