First Woman of Finance!

| NYCREW received a visit from the "First Woman of Finance" last week, with Muriel Siebert & Co. founder Muriel Siebert closing the association's last Leading Ladies of New York Real Estate summer breakfast series. Muriel, the first woman to purchase a seat on the NYSE, spoke about the challenges she faced early in her career and how she overcame them. Although she didn't graduate college, her determination and ability to research and teach herself has enabled her to achieve the success that she has (such as being the first woman Superintendent of Banking for NYS under Gov. Hugh Carey). Her advice: study and know the product you are selling.
