GSU STUDENTS CREATE HISTORY
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s Concourse E
ATLANTA—If you happen to be traveling through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s Concourse E anytime soon, take a look at the collaboration between Atlanta History Center director of exhibitions Don Rooney, his graduate class at Georgia State University (which includes Georgia Tech real estate grad students), and the Airport Arts Program. Don teaches a museum exhibition class in GSU’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences for Heritage Preservation. While students learn museum theory, they also get “real exhibit experience under their belt and on their resume,” Don tells us. “I’ve always provided a real exhibit for the students to sink their teeth into.”
