Helping Hands
June 1, 2010
We're proud of the more than 200 CBRE professionals—20 from the Tri-State alone—who recently traveled to New Orleans to rebuild and refurnish 10 houses and a homeless shelter damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The volunteers, who were in the city for CBRE's 2010 Industrial Conference, undertook projects including painting, carpentry, and landscaping. They worked alongside clients, event sponsors, and charities Rebuilding Together and HomeAid. In September, the firm is launching the CB Richard Ellis Shelter Program, in which employees will participate in housing construction projects throughout the month. |
