Last week, we stopped by the reopening party for Stribling's Chelsea office and snapped the company's Elizabeth Stribling, Elizabeth Ann Kivlan-Stribling, and Rebecca Mason. Rebecca tells us the renovated digs are pulling in more walk-in traffic, and while there's a lot of competition for a small number of condo listings, they've got loads of co-ops, from studios to luxury listings.
The building is NYC's longest-running-in-one-place real estate practice. James N. Wells' Sons opened at 340 W 23rd between Eighth and Ninth in 1819 and merged with Stribling & Associates in 1989. It's been chugging out real estate deals for so long that James N. Wells became a member of The Hundred Year Association of New York--in 1930.
