LAST NIGHT WITH RENT & NRC
July 29, 2009
We must thank Real Estate Networking & Transactions and the National Realty Club for unintentionally holding simultaneous events at The Williams Club last night, giving us respite from our nomadic journalism. |
R.E.N.T. had its monthly meeting, where we heard plenty of optimism from members like interior designer Marcy Masterson, Sotheby’s International Realty’s Pauline Evans, and Vanderbilt Appraisal's Heather Hassan. Pauline tells us that Manhattan residential is selling again, and Heather has the resale appraisals to prove it, she says. Marcy just returned from southern France, where she was taking photos of her residential interior design project.Nous sommes jaloux! |
There are “no worms” at Apple Mortgage either, reports Grant Reichlin, here with UBS’s John DiSpaltro, LandStar Title’s Marco Botarelli, and Time Equities’ Glenn Erikson. He’s seen an increase in jumbo purchase mortgages, and Marco reports more title activity, noting “the world has turned.” We hope it wasn’t just something in the cocktails last night, because we’re beginning to like all this sanguinity. |
