LAST NIGHT'S NAIOP HOLIDAY CHEER
Robinson & Cole's Kelly Molloy, Landstar Title's Marco Botarelli, Ackman-Ziff’s Rick Lechtman, and The Schonbraun McCann Group’s Jim Helmus
After talks of jobless recoveries, we hopped over to Connolly’s on W. 45th to unwind at NAIOP NYC's holiday party, where we snapped Robinson & Cole's Kelly Molloy, Landstar Title's Marco Botarelli, Ackman-Ziff’s Rick Lechtman, and The Schonbraun McCann Group’s Jim Helmus. It was Rick’s last hurrah as group president, while Marco’s coming off the co-insurance closing of Mount Sinai’s mega transaction at 102nd Street. Kelly’s still recovering from her rookie Black Friday experience, when she snagged an iPod—and says she’s definitely not doing it again.
EFI Global’s Eugene Belli, Commercial Defeasance’s John Ahern, Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel’s Silke Rapelius, Mackie Developments’ Cecelia Mackie, and Ackman-Ziff’s Joe Tufariello
EFI Global’s Eugene Belli, Commercial Defeasance’s John Ahern, Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel’s Silke Rapelius, Mackie Developments’Cecelia Mackie, and Ackman-Ziff’s Joe Tufariello. Joe’s taking the helm at NAIOP NYC come the new year; keep an eye out for its first event January 27. John, who once admitted to us that he’s a Red Sox fan, is now busy rooting for the Pats. We were aghast at the blasphemy, but give him a pass since he’s a Shrewsbury, MA native.
Alexander Wolf & Son’s Peter Bernstein, RD Management’s Jordan Brown, Becker Brothers’ Scott Sherman, First Metropolitan Properties’ Jeffrey Rosenblum, and Becker Brothers’ David Becker.
Alexander Wolf & Son’s Peter Bernstein, RD Management’s Jordan Brown, Becker Bros’ Scott Sherman, First Metropolitan Properties’Jeffrey Rosenblum, and Becker Bros’ David Becker. What’s on their wish lists? New commercial general contracting business, says Peter, while David wants value-add investment opportunities in parking garages, office, and retail in the $3M to $20M range. We think they’ll need to have a pretty big secret on Santa.
