LAST NIGHT'S NAIOP YULETIDE
December 1, 2011
We stopped by The National for NAIOP's holiday party last night, where we snapped Arbor Realty Trust's Jon Tilli, CBRE's Greg Maurer-Hollaender and Paul Allegretti, Ackman-Ziff's Rick Lechtman, and Jeff Freeman, formerly of AIG Global Real Estate. Rick tells us today is Ackman-Ziff's annual marathon holiday party: company luncheon, a couple hours at Bowlmor Lanes, and then a session at Pulse Karaoke Lounge for which he's been practicing Neil Diamond's "America" all week. |
We also snapped Fidelity National Title's Tim Oberweger, Iridium Capital's Sean (the net lease guy) Shanahan, and ABR-Bennett Realty's Zachary Bennett. Tim just got a promotion that allows him to work closer to his clients in Manhattan rather than in the Long Island office. (He lives in Connecticut.) Sean tells us investors are done playing Risk and are parking their money in the 1031 safe zone. |
Here's Imowitz Koenig's Neil Tipograph and Celestial Capital prez Mark Ellman and colleague Susie Noddle, who tells us she's also launching S. Noddle Commercial Real Estate Services today to concentrate on retail development (and redevelopment) in the Tri-State. It's official debutante-style coming out will be at ICSC next week. |
Wells Fargo's Joe Tufariello and WB Engineers' Karen Kelly (with WB Engineer's Constantine Siversky) both went to Villanova and thus love college basketball. Joe also reports that the Dow rose 490 points today on news that the NAIOP holiday party was well-attended. |
