Last Night's Gala

New York
Last Night's Gala
Last night was REBNY's 20th Anniversary Residential Deal of the Year Awards & Charity Gala in Central Park, honoring toppers in residential sales and rentals. Each of the first-place winners received$1,500 for a charity of their choice, and all other proceeds went to REBNY's Residential Members In Need Fund and the Central Park Conservancy (over the last 20 years, the event has raised more than$2.5M to help the homeless). Many in attendance got in the maskedmood, donning sparkly and feathered disguises, while others preferred to stay au naturale and make networking a bit easier. If you're impatient, skip to the bottom for the winners.
Last Night's Gala
CORE Group's Tom Postilio, Fox Residential's Barbara Fox and Wells Fargo's Kim Smith. Kim said the most exciting thing she's done recently was darn socks, but that obviously doesn't include last night.
Last Night's Gala
Barbara's husband, Jim Freund (right), has been tickling the ivories for REBNY cocktail events over 15 years now. Here he's the one looking tickled, with Sotheby's International Realty's Roger Erickson and Brown Harris Stevens' Peter Marra.
Last Night's Gala
The party was an opportunity for Stribling & Associates' Alessandra Devine, Cornelia Eland and Linda Melnick to talk about everyone's favorite non-real estate topic—their kids.
Last Night's Gala
Alexander Marketing's Linda Alexander and Prudential Douglas Elliman's Steven James, Jeff Rothstein and Corinne Pulitzer. Corinne's looking forward to hosting a Halloween luncheon for her firm, saying she plans to serve tricks, treats and “potions for success.”
Last Night's Gala
PDE's Harriet Norris with everyone's favorite red-rimmed talk show host. Before going into real estate, Harriet actually worked for Sally Jessy Raphael in a business development position.
Last Night's Gala
CB Previews' Joshua Judge and Halstead Property's Jill Sloaneand Robyn Kammerer. One of Jill's deals was in the running for an award; she brokered the largest residential transaction ever inHarlem, an $8M penthouse at 111 Central Park North.
Last Night's Gala
Rebecca Mason of Caran Properties and Regina Wierbowski of Regina Wierbowski Real Estate don matching disguises. Regina is headed off to Pennsylvania this Halloween to visit her 96-year-old mother, which has become tradition every year.
Last Night's Gala
Halstead's Richard Grossman, Judy Oston, Diane Ramirez andChrista Harpin. Rick recently returned from Paris, where the lucky duck got to attend a Fiat car show. And if you need a fun distraction while waiting for next Tuesday's swing states to report, head over to Christa's—she's throwing a big Election Day party (we're not disclosing who she's rooting for, however).
