As familiar old faces addressed The Counselors of Real Estate's midyear meeting at the Waldorf on Monday, the talk was all about the young'uns. Larry Silverstein says new companies heading Downtown have brought with them young pros who walk to work and have made Downtown a 24/7 neighborhood.
And Brooklyn Borough president Marty Markowitz says an influx of young creatives like playwrights, chefs, and bloggers to Brooklyn have fueled the borough's residential and retail turnaround.
