M. Moser's Pre-Holiday Bash
We started our holiday celebration early by stopping at M. Moser Associates' party last Thursday to celebrate its appearance in Interior Design magazine (does that mean another party for this issue of Bisnow?) Of course, partying at the firm's 490 Broadway loft also meant we got to take a ride on NYC's oldest elevator, which NAI Global New York City's Robert Kluge and M. Moser's Paola Nanetti show off. Don't let its small size fool you—it holds the same amount of awkward silence as a normal elevator, plus a whopping 2,800 lbs (but we still held our breath for the four floors).

Hayley Skurowski with M. Moser's office head David Weinberg and Sarah Corcoran. David tells us that the firm is strategizing for the economic rebuilding and notes that smaller projects with access to capital have started to pick up again. Hayley's heading off to Warsaw in three weeks to marry beau Lee Iannarone of Sandell Asset Management. Congrats!

Colliers ABR's Joel Sosa and Anthony McElroy flank Grubb & Ellis'Alan Lurie, whose book Five Minutes on Mondays: Finding Unexpected Purpose, Peace, and Fulfillment at Work, based on his sermons at Grubb's weekly staff meetings, recently came out. The ordained rabbi tells us it's gaining a lot of momentum, with reviews in the Post, Crain's, and even a spot with Ernie Anastos on Fox 5 News.

Trinity Real Estate's Robin Wachen with DOM Development Group's Irina Fishman and Stan Fishman. Stan tells us that his firm is "breathing new life" into 22 E. 21st St., which the owner recently took over from a family. The landmark building, which was completed in 1904, will see remodeled floors, new elevators, and an upgraded lobby.
