Downstairs on the back patio, NRC members relaxed and cigared to the beat of jazz band BabySoda, which Empire Capital Partners’Adam Marsh (second from right, with NorthMarq’s Tom Graf, NRC prez), found while walking through Washington Square Park six months ago. The band had been performing to a captivated crowd of 30 in the park, he tells us, so he went for a repeat performance last night. Despite the foul weather this week, NRC lucked out, with only a 20% chance of rain. |
FirstService Williams’ Annie Yao, Katzap Real Estate’s Christina Ye, HSBC’s April Garry-Vergara, and Lion’s Property Development Group’s Chaim Katzap. Chaim’s firm is assiting the EB-5 program, which gives foreigners who invest money in the U.S. jobs and green cards. He says he’s seeing many from China and Russia and is working with major employers like the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Steiner Studios, and individual U.S. states to create thousands of jobs. |
