PARTY TIME!
December 7, 2011
We would have put a Santa hat on NYC Economic Development prez Seth Pinsky's head, but everything the City has committed to—$27B over the next five years—can't possibly fit in a gift sack. Yesterday, he stopped by AREW's holiday luncheon to discuss some of the CIty's projects. Last week, it broke ground on the $50M initial phase of critical infrastructure work at Willets Point. And this week, NYCEDC announced it's seeking a developer for a 48k SF site in Coney Island, as well as an RFP for the sale, demolition, and development of a 2,500 SF lot in Flushing. Joining him are JLL's Marie-Claire Cunningham, ACC Construction's Michele Medaglia, Rhodes Associates' Jane Lyons, Zetlin & DeChiara's Lina Telese, and GuardHill Financial's Rochelle Crespi. |
AREW's Charitable Fund actually needed a truck to get these gifts over to the children at Women In Need's shelter. This year, AREW members, colleagues, and friends sponsored 214 children in its annual collection (and this photo only shows a small portion of them). Sorting the gifts are Katherine Sayer & Associates' Katherine Sayer, Horizon Land Services' Stephanie Bulter, Sun & Moon Marketing's Madelyne Kirch, KTR Real Estate Advisors' Theresa Nygard, TD Bank's Shaelee Lopes, HJ Kalikow & Co's Dorothy Vermeer, Berdon's Rita Pierre, and attorney Barbara Pryor. |
Partying like financiers at MBA of NY's holiday party at the art deco Edison Ballroom: Centerline Capital's Gary Vizioli, GRS Group's Mark Halloran, JPMorgan Chase's Michael Fletcher (also president of MBA of NY), and Centerline's Josh Messier. |
