REASON TO SMILE

| We love when the real estate community shares its good fortune with others. On Aug. 20, Winick Realty, The Moinian Group, Quik Park, and other big sponsors gathered at Southampton's Axe Lounge for a great cause: Operation Smile, a non-profit that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for children around the globe. | Danielle, the founder and chair of Evening of Smiles (with Winick senior managing director Darrell Rubens), is a first-hand witness to Operation Smile's work. Proceeds from past events went to Operation Smile missions in Vietnam and Bolivia, and Danielle visited both missions to see the difference the surgeries have made (see herYouTube video here). All the money raised from ticket sales, auction items, and donations went directly to the charity, which has donated operations to 150,000 children so far. |
