REBNY'S NEW CHAIRMAN
REBNY'S NEW CHAIRMAN
He has big shoes to fill, but we’re confident Tishman Speyer co-CEO Rob Speyer is ready for the job. Yesterday, REBNY president Steve Spinola announced that Rob will succeed CBRE New York Tri-State CEO Mary Ann Tighe as REBNY chairman beginning in January. Rob (right, with Muss Development prez Joshua Muss and principal Jason Muss at this year’s REBNY banquet) is already making history: At 43, he’ll be REBNY's youngest chairman, and his position represents the first time in the organization's 117-year history that the post will be occupied by three succeeding generations of a single family—his father Jerry served from 1986 to 1988, and grandfather Robert Tishman held the position from 1972 to 1975. Congrats, Rob!
