| While pink slips abound, more real estate professionals are encountering executive search firms. Yesterday, we found Equinox Partners' Barbara Beck and Rhodes Associates' Jane Lyons, invited by ULI New York to Clifford Chance's W. 52nd St. office to give the lowdown on the firms, how they operate, the job candidate screening process, and resume and interview advice. They tell us now's the time to develop relationships with such firms, not when you're out of work. The positive? Real estate is an asset class that won't disappear, and firms continue to need different skill sets. |
