WNET's on the move—the public broadcasting station announced that THIRTEEN and WLIW21's operations are moving to 100k SF at Worldwide Plaza, where it inked a 15-year lease at 825 Eighth. This is half the space it currently resides in at 450 W. 33rd St. WNET had moved its studio facilities to a new space in Lincoln Center earlier this year, and will sublet its existing offices to GMHC upon its December move. The new digs will feature a fully open plan with no private office spaces, and is being designed by A+I Design Corp. This lease has been brought to you by landlord George Comfort & Sons and support from viewers like you. |
