THEATER RENOVATION KICK-OFF

Afterwards, we headed over to the Baryshnikov Arts Center at 450 West 37th to attend the construction kick-off of the Jerome Robbins Theater, a transformation of a 300-seat theater into a high-tech,sustainable performing arts complex. Above: team members from project manager Denham Wolf, architect WASA/Studio A, and theater consultant and acoustician Arup. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year, and resident theater company The Wooster Group will be the first to perform. (More photos) |
