Unmatched Kindness
October 28, 2010
A tremendous thank you to everyone who donated to Bisnow NY editor Amanda Marsh’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night event, which she walked last Saturday in Central Islip, Long Island to celebrate her fifth year of remission from Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Thanks to the generosity of the real estate and media communities, Team Squash Lymphoma (above, with Amanda to the far left) raised over $7,200—far surpassing her original $5,000 goal. If you’d like to learn more about the walk or donate, you can still do sohere. |
And more proof our industry’s kindness is unmatched—we’ve heard many of you have been participating in events for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Above, Skanska USA’s Alan Flood,Danielle Chase, Jeanne Chase, Connie Dattolo, Lisa Dattolo,Ziggy Cartagena, and Maria Santiago (appropriately, in pink hard hats) participated in the 5k Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Oct.17 at the Mack-Calicomplex in Parsippany, NJ. The team raised $7,500 for the American Cancer Society. |
