WHERE'S THE LIQUIDITY
October 9, 2009
When will there be greater liquidity and where will it come from? What will bring on growth? Are we at the bottom? We’re good at asking questions, but we turn to pros, like Fried Frank real estate chairman Jonathan Mechanic for answers. |
We snapped Jonathan yesterday, during his rare break from preparing for Bisnow’s “State of the Market” panel next Thursday at Cooper Union Great Hall. Though sales velocity is down, he says leasing has picked up because tenants are willing to do deals in a more attractive market. Landlords are taking this time to lock in stability and tenants. Next week, join Jonathan, Cushman & Wakefield’s Bruce Mosler, CB Richard Ellis’ Mitch Rudin, Goldman Sachs’ Andy Jonas, and Fisher Brothers’ Winston Fisher as they tackle all questions with Vornado’s Mike Fascitelli.
