WHERE’S THE REBOUND?
September 11, 2009
We're seeing a lot of activity because of a great adjustment in leasing values—in some cases, up to 50% lower, says Jones Lang president of NY Operations Peter Riguardi. He'll be speaking atBisnow's “Connecting The Dots” event Sept 17. Although some tenants feel good that the market is moving, don’t think we've rebounded; there's still more supply than demand, he notes. Landlords will have to reach to make deals, and an additional 5 to 10% correction will give us our bottom. Want to learn more? Peter will be joined by W&M Properties' Anthony Malkin, Orrick's Marc Shapiro, REBNY's Steven Spinola, and FirstService Williams' Bob Freedman for a preview on what's to come—register here. |
