WINING WITH CREW
February 23, 2010
Last night, we joined over 100 CREW Network members for NYCREW’s wine tasting at Cushman & Wakefield’s new 1290 Avenue of the Americas HQ. The event committee of Cole Schotz’s Wendy Berger, Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Faith Hope Consolo, Justdan Realty’s Karen Dome, and Hartman & Craven’s Tracey Daniels join fresh-from-Barcelona wine educator Ellisa Cooper (center), who started the seven-wine event with a brut nature Cava. Faith and Karen report that optimism continues in the market—expect a multitude of new deals by 2Q’s end. (They haven’t picked up their glasses yet, so you can’t say it’s the wine talking.) |
NYC Economic Development Corp.’s Sharon Khurdan (chapter prez), Propark America’s Karla Baig, Sklar Realty Group’s Lydia Sklar, Ferzan Robbins & Associates’ Liz Muskat, and Ted Moudis Associates’ Lucy Carter. On March 18th, NYCREW will celebrate Women’s History Month by looking at the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright. But why a man? He played a role in the promotion of women in architecture, unhesitatingly hiring them. Ultimately, over 100 women architects and designers worked with him. Liz will be joining panelists Beverly Willis and Jennifer Stewart to share their experiences at Ted Moudis Associates’ office (Details). |
