April 5, 2012

It isn't coincedental that AREW's Charitable Fund (above) collected over 100 bags of gently used business clothing and accessories for Bottomless Closet NYC at its luncheon on Tuesday. Each April, AREW hosts its "Powerful Women in Real Estate" event, which features women who've made it to this top (this year, Brookfield Office Properties' Melissa Coley, Africa Israel USA's Laurie Golub, Snohetta's Anne Camille Lewison, CBRE's Cherrie Nanninga, and Vornado's Wendy Silverstein). But AREW also wanted to help women just starting out: Bottomless Closet uses the model of women helping other women to enhance clients' self-esteem and self-confidence in order for them to enter and succeed in the workforce and improve the quality of their lives.
