Can’t stand the Rockefeller Center crowds during the holiday season? You can skip them by taking space at Cohen Brothers Realty’s 623 Fifth Ave where we dropped by Monday night for a holiday open house (and spectacular views of this year’s Norway Spruce with 30,000 lights). We met owner Charles Cohen with Cushman & Wakefield brokers Bruce Mosler, David Glassman,Brad Mendelson, and Joseph Cabrera, who tell us the building has 85k SF available, with full 14,486 SF floors on 15, 17, and 19-21, and 9,955 SF on the partial 29th floor. Features: column-free floors, state-of-the-art construction, built space, raised flooring, and full-height windows. They’ll even divide the space, priced mid-$70s to low-$80s/SF. |
Liz Lemon fans also have a sky-high view of 30 Rock and Radio City Music Hall, among other Midtown sites. We snapped Winoker Realty’s Bill Berkis and Howard Epstein, two of the many guests taking in the scenery. Bill recently brokered a six-year, 2,397 SF lease on behalf of Sioni & Partners at Cohen Brothers’ 475 Park Ave South, while Howard tells us he’s seeing an uptick in medical, wellness center, and dentistry clients looking for space (he was behind Yoga Sutra’s 8,000 SF lease at 6 E 39th St). Hopefully the ice skaters and snow put Howard in the holiday spirit, as he’s headed off to ski in Vail. |
