YREPNY AT DON CRUDO
July 15, 2009
Last night, we dropped by the grand opening of one of Midtown’s newest restaurants, Crudo by Don Pedro on 35th Street, for YREPNY’s second summer networking event. Among the 150 attendees were co-prez Erik Dowling of the The Woodlark Cos., Massey Knakal’s James Nelson, MSF Capital Advisors’ Michael Felman, and co-prez Mike Strug of Potomac Realty Capital. West Village guru James has many exciting marketing exclusives on his plate, including a retail condo at 54 Bond St. and two mixed-use properties at 19 Greenwich Ave. and 82 Christopher St. |
Remember when we stopped by 5030 Broadway in March to see available office and studio space? Perhaps we're good luck. Edison Properties’ Jason Miller and Lenny Lazzarino (with Thorobird’s Thomas Campbell, left) report that a smorgasbord of tenants have since joined the building, including a leather bookbinder, state senator Eric Schneiderman, the New York Women's Chamber of Commerce, and backpack manufacturer Transpack. Lease bonus:in-house entertainment, as they share a floor with an opera singer. |
The sangrias, mojitos, and Euro-Caribbean nibbles at the restaurant mentally whisked us away to a tropical retreat, but Stephanie Sicora and Christina Vidaic, both with SL Green’s eEmerge, actually have exciting summer trips to look forward to. Stephanie’s off to Portugal, while Christina’s visiting family in Croatia. With a little planning, perhaps they could sneak us through Customs. |
