Young Professionals Spring For A Cure
CB Richard Ellis' Kerry Powers, UGL Equis' Jon Schulman, CBRE's Alissa Jacob , and Cushman & Wakefield's Peter Alden at Spring For A Cure
Alexandria Real Estate Equities, CBRE, Newmark Knight Frank, and Glenwood Management sponsored Spring For A Cure at the Puck Building late last week, an annual event to raise money by the Millennial Society of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. CBRE's Kerry Powers, UGL Equis' Jon Schulman, CBRE's Alissa Jacob (event co-chair with Joanna Steinberg), and Cushman & Wakefield's Peter Alden joined hundreds of young professionals who raised over $100k to fund cutting-edge work in epigenetics, or how genes determine the behavior of cancer cells.
The crowd at Spring For A Cure
Since the Millennial Society's inaugural event in ‘07, the group has has raised more than $300k. Committee members from the real estate industry include Alexandria's Camilla Marcus Siegel, Douglaston Development's Troy Berman, C&W's David Stockel, and Jones Lang LaSalle's Amanda Saltzman.
