ASB Adds to $800M Spending Spree with Midtown South Loft Office Building
Investment firm ASB with George Comfort & Sons has plunked down $82.5M for a 12-story, 117,158 SF loft office building at 158 W. 27th Street, one of 10 NYC office and retail investments totaling roughly $800M it's has picked up over the last few years. The building is 92% leased with tenants spanning from financial services to fitness, and ASB SVP Brodie Ruland plans to throw in some extra enhancements on top of recently completed upgrades, to make it an even cooler spot to work (think exposed ductwork, ginormous windows, and lots of light). This is ASB’s second JV with George Comfort & Sons, the first being a six-story 49,951 SF mixed-use property at 164-168 Canal Street, acquired in 2013.
