Billionaire Builds $140M Museum for Art Collection
Billionaire and New York native Eli Broad is putting his impressive art collection on display. Through the years the $7.4B man has accumulated more than 2,000 pieces in one of the most enviable private art collections in the world, and now that he and his wife have entered their twilight years, the last thing he wants is for his precious pieces to end up in storage. So he's decided to build a $140M public museum to showcase his treasures. The Broad opens in Downtown LA next week. (And it's free!) [LLNY]
