Colliers Continues Beefing Up East Coast Team, Hires Former SL Green Executive
Cryder Bancroft, a former SL Green vice president, is jumping to Colliers International to help the brokerage in its goal of strengthening the East Coast side of the business.
Bancroft will take the role of managing director and will represent both tenants and landlords, Colliers announced Thursday.
“I’m really looking forward to bringing my transactional experience to the team,” Bancroft said. “Colliers is sending a signal to the market that it is making a serious commitment to the East Coast.”
Bancroft will start working with Colliers on Monday. He has been with SL Green since 2010 and has completed over 500 office and retail deals totaling more than 3.5M SF.
Last month, the firm poached another SL Green alum, David Amsterdam, to be its new president of investments, leasing and the Eastern region. Amsterdam also formerly worked as Paul Massey’s mayoral campaign manager.
Colliers recently hired former CBRE Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer Gil Borok to be its new chief operating officer.
“Cryder is poised to be a major force in the industry for years to come and we couldn't be more excited to have him join the team,” Amsterdam said. “Cryder is just the first of many strong professionals we’re bringing on board.”
