Corcoran Sues Woody Johnson's Ex-Wife Over $18M Condo Sale
The Corcoran Group is suing Nancy Sale Frey Johnson, the ex-wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson, for $810k in commission on the sale of her Fifth Avenue condo. Johnson sold the four-bedroom pad to billionaire John Catsimatidis for $18M after initially rejecting his $15M offer. However, the suit claims that Johnson only accepted the Gristedes owner's offer after the co-op board rejected another offer from a buyer Corcoran found, the New York Post reports. Corcoran believes it is a owed the $810k commission, while Johnson's lawyer argues that the legal protocols necessary for Corcoran to get its commission were not followed. [NYP]
