Greystone Scraps Residential Plans for Lyceum Building
Greystone is abandoning plans to convert the landmarked Brooklyn Lyceum into luxury condos, opting instead to turn it into a single-use commercial space. It's not clear whether the planned 12-story rental building next door will also be affected. Greystone purchased the former public bathhouse at a foreclosure auction in October 2014, DNAInfo reports. Its initial plans were to to convert it into two or three high-end residences. Any changes to the building will require approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission. [DNA]
