Tishman Speyer Losing Head of China, Brazil Operations To Nonprofit Sector
Tishman Speyer senior managing director Katherine Farley is leaving after more than 30 years. Katherine oversees Tishman Speyer’s interests in Brazil and China, where it owns more than 17M SF of property. She also oversees the firm’s global corporate marketing operation.
Katherine, who’s married to Tishman Speyer co-founder Jerry Speyer, serves as chairman of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a title she’s held since 2011. An internal memo from CEO Rob Speyer was circulated throughout the company Feb. 12 alerting employees that she’d be leaving to devote full-time efforts to her work in nonprofits, according to The Real Deal. Katherine also accepted a position as co-chair of the International Rescue Committee earlier this month. She’d previously been a board member.
The memo announcing Katherine’s departure reportedly notes that she’ll be retaining her office at Tishman Speyer’s HQ. No word yet on who will fill the roles Katherine will leave behind. [TRD]
