Lee & Associates Adds Two Senior Brokers, Mark Kapnick and Greg Tannor
Two senior retail brokers are joining Lee & Associates.
Mark Kapnick, formerly of SRS Real Estate Partners, and Greg Tannor, a director at Cushman & Wakefield, are joining the firm as executive vice presidents and principals.
Kapnick was an SRS senior vice president with 25 years in retail leasing and investment sales. He specializes in hospitality, having completed more than 2M SF of deals, including being awarded REBNY's "Most Significant Retail Deal of the Year" in 2014 for his work representing Equity Office in Bryant Park. Kapnick represented Moinian Group in September when the landlord leased 60K SF to Volvo for a dealership at Sky, the retail building at 605 West 42nd St. on the Far West Side.
Most recently, Kapnick represented landlord JMC Holdings in a 2,400 SF lease to Pieology, a fast-bake pizza chain at 156-168 Bleecker St. in Greenwich Village.
Tannor has more than 17 years of experience in the industry, and started in 2013 at Cushman & Wakefield in retail leasing, investment sales and office leasing. Considered the go-to broker for the Meatpacking District, in September he represented landlords Romanoff Equities and Property Group Partners in a 7,800 SF lease at 860 Washington St. for a Tesla showroom.
On the tenant side, Tannor has represented national brand tenants, including Paige Premium Denim, Elie Saab, JC Penney, SoulCycle and Primark.
