Tribeca Staple Nobu Heads for Wall Street
Robert De Niro's partially owned, insanely popular Tribeca restaurant will soon call 195 Broadway, in the middle of the Wall Street/World Trade Center area, home, reports the NY Post. In 2017 Nobu will leave its post at 105 Hudson St and move to 14,384 SF of ground-floor space at the L&L Holding Co. and JP Morgan-owned “wedding cake” building — formerly the AT&T building. Original designer David Rockwell is slated to design the new restaurant. No word on the details of the 15-year lease, but asking rents for 195 Broadway's other retail spaces are $500 to $600/SF.
