A top exec with WeWork is responsible for funneling more donation money toward Mayor Bill de Blasio’s re-election campaign than anyone else.

Over a four-day period this past January, WeWork SVP of external affairs Arana Hankin brought $68,750 in donations to Hizzoner’s re-election bid, according to The Real Deal.

WeWork co-founders Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey, along with their spouses, each put down $4,950, the maximum allowed.

The bundle included donations others on the payroll at WeWork, as well as from people who work for firms with business ties to the co-working giant, like UA Buildings and Bestmark Woodworking.

Hankin’s been with WeWork since November. Before joining the company, she was a senior project manager with HR&A Advisors, a consulting a firm known for its especially close ties to the administration.

WeWork’s certainly got some money (and influence) to throw around town these days. The company’s location count throughout the five boroughs has reached 30, its footprint in the city is at about 2.8M SF and climbing, and its latest valuation pegs its worth at $16B. [TRD]
