What Comes After Co-Working Spaces
As the inevitable backlash against 100% shared co-working spaces gains momentum, Servcorp SVP Melanie Gladwell suggests a twist: a mix of private offices and shared common areas. Melanie says that, since what motivates one worker distracts another, companies are looking for accessibility to both private rooms and large, collaborative workspaces. Servcorp pioneered the virtual office (they currently have 40,000 virtual office clients worldwide) and has recently unified co-working with private workspace. The success of serviced offices, Melanie says, is providing cutting-edge and reliable technology, as well as flexible options for companies to expand or contract with little risk. The Sydney-based global company has 142 locations and recently opened space on the 85th floor at One World Trade Center. For more info on our Bisnow partner, click here.
