Fisher Brothers head of acquisitions and development Brian Collins is taking on a new role at Silverstein Properties.

In his new position, Collins will be director of development and executive vice president, The Real Deal reports. He will focus on development in Manhattan and in the boroughs.

“Brian has a long and successful history in the real estate industry,” Silverstein Properties Chairman Larry Silverstein said in a statement to TRD. “We look forward to working with him in the new year.”

Collins joined Fisher Brothers in 2011, and before that had founded Colgate Development. At Fisher Brothers, he worked projects including 123 Greenwich St., 222 East 40th St. and 101 Murray St. He also worked as the president of Intrawest Resort Holdings and as the chief operating officer of Millennium Partners.

Silverstein this year opened the doors on its Three World Trade Center tower, and acquired Disney’s Upper West Side ABC campuses for $1.2B, which it will likely redevelop one day after Disney makes its planned move to its upcoming campus in Hudson Square by 2023. Its other major development in the pipeline is 2 World Trade Center, which is still seeking an anchor tenant before launching construction.
