Placeholder

The original home of the Bossert Hotel in Brooklyn Heights has been undergoing a restoration to return it to its original use since Clipper Equity and the Chetrit Group bought it from the Jehovah’s Witnesses for $81M in 2012.

There’s now an opening date for the rebirth of the historic hotel at 98 Montague St: Oct. 1. The opening date has been pushed back multiple times previously, The Brooklyn Daily Eagle reports.

It’ll open as the Esplendor Bossert Brooklyn and its operator will be Fën Hotels. There will be a total of 279 hotel rooms, a 3,000 SF restaurant, a 3k SF lobby café, a second restaurant on the 14th floor and a 1,900 SF rooftop terrace.

It is expected to be among the most expensive hotels in the borough. [BDE]
