Hudson Square Could Get a 1.7M SF Mixed-Use Project
New renderings have emerged for 550 Washingon St, a 1.7M SF mixed-use development in Hudson Square, being developed by Westbrook Partners and Atlas Capital Group.
The new ULURP calls for 1,596 residential units (with 500 set aside as affordable or supportive), 255k SF of retail and a 353-key hotel. According to the plan, there’d also be elevated park space, The Villager reports.
The new plan would allow the project's FAR to bump up to 8.7 from 5 if the developers are able to pick up 200k SF of development rights from nearby Pier 40, along with a zoning change from the city. [The Villager]
