Large Fire Blazes In Tribeca Mixed-Use Building
A fire broke out within a mixed-use building in Tribeca blocks away from City Hall Friday evening.
The fire started on the second floor, and flames within the five-story building at 24 Murray St. near Church Street blazed atop the roof and could be spotted from several blocks away, NBC New York reports.
The building contains apartments on the upper floors and retail on the ground floor, including Italian pizza restaurant Famous Famiglia.
No injuries have been reported, according to the New York Fire Department.
