Macklowe’s New One Wall Street Conversion Will Look Like This
A new video featuring Harry Macklowe encouraging EB-5 investment in his One Wall Street mixed-use redevelopment shows us what project could look like (rendered: the project's re-revamped retail).
The retail portion of the 50-story tower will be clad in a new stepped glass exterior shell with terraces on each floor. A new rooftop addition on a portion of the building will feature huge glass windows and another set of terraces. The building will wear many hats, according to Macklowe in the video: retail, office, condo and rental.
The new scheme for the building appears to separate those uses between the original 1929-vintage tower and the annex, built in 1961, which is the part that’ll have the most visible exterior work done when the conversion’s finished. [NYY]
