New Renderings for Related's 35 Hudson Yards
New renderings have been released for Related's mixed-use condo and hotel tower at 35 Hudson Yards. The 1,000-foot tall, 79-story supertall will be the second to rise at Hudson Yards, following the 1,269-foot tall 30 Hudson Yards. And to give you an idea of how rapidly the landscape is changing in the city, before 2010, it would've been the tallest residential building in the city, NY YIMBY reports. Now it barely breaks the top 10. The building will have an undulating angular base with pedestrian entryways. There's also a setback on the 10th floor for a large terrace and a pool. The supertall will be designed by David Childs and SOM, and will supposedly have an Equinox-branded hotel. It's slated to complete in 2018 or 2019. [NYY]
