86-Story Condo Tower Now Slated For 45 Broad St
When Bisnow last wrote about the status of 45 Broad St in October, the Financial District development site was slated to become a 65-story condo tower following an $86M deal awarding Madison Equities and the Pizzarotti Group, along with minority investor AMS Acquisitions, the site's title.
With new renderings unveiled this week, however, it appears an even bigger project is in the works, Curbed reports. At 1,100 feet and 86 stories, the latest incarnation designed by CentraRuddy will have 245 units, making it among one of New York City's tallest buildings.
Amenities are slated to include a lounge, a gym and a swimming pool with an additional five floors designated for commercial or retail use. Groundbreaking is expected to begin in late October or November with an anticipated completion date in 2018. [Curbed]
