Co-op Owners Seek $30M for Brooklyn Heights Building
The co-op board for a seven-story Time Equities-developed Brooklyn Heights building wants out. The members have banded together to sell the 20-unit, 20k SF property at 159-161 Remsen St for $30M. The building's being marketed as a possible condo development, which would require a developer to take a wrecking ball to it in order to get the full 45k buildable SF and 185-foot height, The Real Deal reports. Once sold, this will be the first time the building has changed hands since Time Equities converted it from a vacant commercial building into a co-op in 1982. [TRD]
