Forest City Will Realign Modules on B2 Tower
Forest City Ratner will have to realign some of the modules on its B2 tower, the modular multifamily building at Pacific Park, Atlantic Yards Report says. Yesterday Forest City announced plans to realign the modules on the 10th floor as the planned 32-story building rises. The project’s been stalled at 10 stories since August. Reports that the lower modules may be misaligned led the former contractor for the site, Skanska, to warn that “no one knows if the building is going to leak.” The work to realign the 10th floor modules is set to start on April 1. Forest City says the project’s budget’s expected to take a $146M hit from the issues that have plagued it. [Atlantic Yards Report]
