Streeteasy Compiles Short-Term Listings for Sandy Victims
New York City's go-to site for real estate listings is looking out for Hurricane Sandy victims. The web service has dedicated a section of its site to temporary housing, aimed at those displaced by the hurricane. Streeteasy is also letting owners offering short-term leases of three months or less to list for free, the New York Daily News reports. It's not a comprehensive list yet, but the site is trying to get the word out to brokers so they can collect more listings. Streeteasy also recommends a few other websites including Airbnb's page of free stays and Craigslist's short-term rentals and sublet page. [NYDN]
